Trauma-Informed
Educational
Leadership, Guided
by Gratitude.
Helping institutions, mothers, and young minds heal, grow, and feel seen.
Dr. Audrey Akoon-Purcell, Ed.D. is a trauma-informed educational leader, author, speaker, and storyteller helping people understand the impact of trauma and mental health through education, conversation, and practical tools.
“There is power in being seen.”
Trauma touches the way we learn, lead, parent, connect, and move through the world. But conversations about mental health do not always have to begin in a clinical setting.
Dr. AP brings trauma-informed education into schools, organizations, churches, conferences, and everyday conversations, creating space for people to better understand themselves and one another.
Her work sits at the intersection of trauma, gratitude, education, and storytelling, translating complex conversations about mental health into tools and experiences people can actually carry with them.
Whether she is standing on a stage, developing curriculum, writing for children, or creating space for honest conversations about motherhood, the goal remains
the same:
“To help people heal, grow, and feel seen.”
One mission. Three expressions.
Dr. AP's work spans education, mental health, storytelling, and personal growth. Each platform offers a different way to engage with the work.
